I saw someone else start a thread for this in 10.7.22 but it did not have a resolution. Not only that, I have a different gecko, thus I figured I would create a different post https://discord.com/channels/443762504523579403/1027950076708007936

My F leo has had armpit calcium bubbles for a while now (id say for a few weeks to a month). I am aware that a diet/overdust would be an issue but I have not been dusting much at all and have reduced their feeding to once every 5-7 days. I buy 50-100 crickets at a time and keep them in a cricket keeper which gives me usually 2-3 weeks worth of crickets and then i feed them once with mealworms (or another worm supplement) in-between cricket batches.

I would say the diet both my geckos on is pretty diverse and not overfeeding, so I'm not sure why her armpit bubbles wont go away. I just recently did some research and read that having longer feeding break periods may result in the gecko going into "survival mode" and storing more calcium and nutrition but when i feed i drop crickets in for them to hunt, so they have a steady-ish supply of food.

let me know if you need better pictures

they are very likely from the overweight. geckos don’t lose weight easily, so it might take a while to see an improvement. feeding them once a week is fine, but i’d limit the amount of feeders to no more than five approximately

it can take a bit of trial and error to find out what works for your gecko. armbit bubbles are harmless though, they’re just an indicator of overweight and/or overdusting
