Hello my pet leopard gecko sunshine keeps closing her right eye while keeping the other opened at first i thought nothing of it till i thought it was suspicious a day after so i looked into it and i think it could be a piece of stuck shed in the eye cause she finished shedding 2 days before this started and im very worried as i want the best for them please answer this question as it worries me very much i can send a pic when i get the chance as it happens every now and then

Want a pic?
yea
aww
Ye
do you have a picture of her eye and what it looks like
Yes
Send that please!
she is def albino lol. Is it currently shut or somethin?
Now
I actually brought her to a better place for me to get the pic so its clearer
Do you have a uvb?
i wouldn't necessarily write it off being an albino thing until we see what they're actually meaning either
ok so thats not why
So different morphs can have different problems?
albinos can be light sensitive yes but in this case it sounds more like a health issue tis why i asked
only lemon frost and enigma are morphs known for problems nqa
they need a slightly lower range of uvb (2-5%) then normals due to light sensitivity
K
back to the actual question though lemme see that squinty eye pic :3
K
She only does it in her tank tho
Thats the main place
Its were 80% of it happens
So yeah
It might take a while
But i can describe it if you would like
when you do get a chance to get a pic send it :3 no rush!
girlie got big eyes. it could be possible that she's just comfy but you can always take her to a !vet if you're super worried

I cannot diagnose or give medical advice as I am not a medical professional so qvq a vet visit doesn't hurt if it's worrying you / you aren't sure what it is
if it IS shed stuck in her eye then she does need to be seen by a vet
anything eye related should only be handled by a medical professional
Is it normal to see like a cloud in there eye
Cuz sometimes in the cloud i see my reflection
nqa but id like to offer a suggestion for if its not a physical issue:
leos sometimes "sleep with one eye open" before they fully snooze, just to feel safer. so if youre noticing shes doing it while shes laying down or basking, thats likely your reason
Ok
