Has your vet offered any probiotics?

So in my opinion it could be a sign of impaction. That being said, I think you should probably reach out to your vet about it. You could try a warm soak as well to see if that stimulates things to move.

Yeah I would ask them if that would be an option! I can't give medical advice beyond asking your vet stuff but probiotics work wonders for my animals when they're not doing too good

#

I would go off the vets advice honestly! Stuff like Carnivore care or mushed up bugs could work, but 1000% run everything by the vet before you try it as I'm not a medical professional

doesn't our guide say 95?

ruling out impaction vs constipation requires x-rays to be done

Poor little dude. I would just not feed him until the vet can confirm there's no impaction. I would ask the vet about probiotics and also ask for an X ray as lore said. I hope they can get to the bottom of it!!

I would also try and consider checking for kidney infection. It requires a blood test which might be difficult to do

I’m the same way with my rats 🥲

ive never heard of massaging their stomachs for constipation, i can imagine thats just going to stress him out more

did your vet tell you to do that? the only places ive seen say to do that are non credible websites

So I usually recommend belly massages for kittens and puppies that are constipated. I think it could work to stimulate defecation in geckos but I would advise against it because geckos are small and fragile- accidentally applying too much pressure has a greater risk to injure a gecko than a puppy or kitten

I am not a veterinarian and so I place a major NQA before this statement

#

The holes look like empty stomach in the cranial right abdomen, and I’m pretty sure that’s empty transverse colon in the lateral left abdomen

mine poops like that when she has slept a lot in a moist hide or drunk a lot of water without eating so much food. She always passes normally after a day or two

Probably just more water to pass than food. They have to get rid of excess water too

It’s possible but the quality of the image zoomed in is poor- it could also be artifact. I’d want to see a lateral view to really be convinced

I would call your vet and ask if you are concerned
