cerulean hull
#

yeah im at work but ik a new reptile rescue that opened up called badgerland rescue. idk much about it but you could start there

plucky harbor
#

@dry rivet ping again, do you know any reptile rescues places here?

#

i know reptile rapture takes in rescues

#

however i don't know any specifically near racine

cerulean hull
#

oh in the racine area hm the one i listed is kenosha

plucky harbor
#

reptile rapture is southern wisconsin

cerulean hull
#

yeye

plucky harbor
#

its a store but they do rescues

cerulean hull
#

those are the only ones i know of

plucky harbor
#

i also don't know of any in illinois/chicago area

#

i would also offer to take one but the circumstances just don't line up for me currently

dry rivet
#

Uhh let me try and find one that always comes to reptile rapture I think they’re north of here tho

#

Badger land was the one I was thinking of I think

plucky harbor
#

reptile rapture is definitely a good option, the in store care isn't the greatest but they are better than giving them up to petco/petsmart/etc

dry rivet
#

Badger land would probably be able to give more vet care if needed, reptile rapture will monitor and resell as a rescue but not necessarily provide vet care

#

They do it for iguanas, tegus and other larger animals but besides that not to my knowledge

plucky harbor
#

the only strong thing i can think of going for reptile rapture is how quickly they sell leos, but the vet care is a good thing to point out

dry rivet
#

They sell fast on the floor and might actually just give the harder cases to badger land when they come in bc I know they take in a lot of beardies, they just have to actually put them out on the floor and they hardly have the staff to take a picture so it’s on the website bc if it’s not on the websites it’s not in the floor

#

Either one would be fine imo, they don’t look too bad from the photos but it might be more mbd behavior

plucky harbor
#

just be wary that while RR will get them off of their hands, they don't recommend our standards

#

so the gecko may go to someone who provides similar conditions, albeit with a better diet

#

oh lovely

#

people will just be like that sometimes, though at least he is willing to rehome?
