I think I'm going to use springtails, but I'm not really sure how to prepare them for the enclosure. Any tips?

tysm! would you have to quarantine all of them like the gecko itself, or once it reaches around 50 you just put them in?

Springtails multiply really quickly

Springtails in my experience don't require much prep, they're very prolific breeders. They'll usually come in a plastic container that you can gently tap the bottom of to knock springtails into your enclosure to seed it

For in-tank prep I would make sure they have a damp area to congregate, under the water bowl is an easy one (just overflow your dish when refilling it). Underneath cork bark and leaf litter are other good places for them

I also in my experience have not found it's necessary to breed them before like isopods because the container you'll get them in usually has more than enough to seed the enclosure. I did keep my original container as a master colony though just in case I ever need to add more
