As soon as I launch the game, after it says "Press any button", this message comes on my screen, and if I press "Close" it reloads and another "Close" button appears right next to the old one.

Hi there!
We're very sorry you are having this issue. Our tech team is working on a solution and a patch. But in the meantime you can try to see if this workaround works for you:
- Unplug any other input devices from your PC
- Or see if unplugging either your keyboard or mouse to start the game (and plugging them back in after) works. So try only using your keyboard when you start the game and plug in the mouse after the main menu has loaded and you are connected. Or if that does not work do the same with only the mouse and without the keyboard being plugged in.
Additionally, the following may help you resolve the issue:
- Let your partner send you an invite through Steam (if you happen to play on Steam) when the game is NOT open.

I somehow solved the issue, I don't know if it was because I restarted my PC, or the fact that I unplugged my controllers, but it works now. Thank you for the unplugging tip!
