Desktop APP (v. 0.6.0.2) Patch notes :

• No Ads for Premium Elite
• We are excited to announce the newest Buff added to the Premium Elite Arsenal - No Ads! Any existing or new Premium Elite subscription will stop seeing ads anywhere on our app. That means no more ads at the start of a game, end of a game or in the app itself.

• New Launch Game Screen
• We know how annoying it is to play an amazing match and the get no points for it because of tracking issues. We added a new screen that pops up when you launch one of our supported games that shows you the available modes in that game and the tracking status. This is intended to let you know if the game is supported or if there are any tracking issues before you start playing to prevent that annoying feeling at the end of a match.

• Gamers Page
• We added a new page to discover where you can see other users who play on Buff. The users featured on that page are users that are actively playing, gaining points, posting highlights and getting a lot of engagement. Being featured on that page means that you are an active member of the Buff community and will get you more engagement on the content you post.

• Followers Page
• A new addition to our social features - Followers! You can now follow other users in order to quickly access the content they are posting on Buff. Following is as easy as clicking a button, just enter the user's profile page, click on follow, and that's it! The difference between following and friends is that you don't need to be accepted as a follower. Followers will not show up as friends in the friends list but you will see all the highlights they post in your News Feed. What's a News Feed? Well, that is a great question...

• News Feed
• Another new addition to the Discover page! This page essentially works as your way to view your friend's content and the content that users you follow post. The "Recent Posts" page shows you highlights from every single user on the Buff app. On the News Feed you will only see the content posted by the people you follow or are friend's with. It is a more intimate place allowing you to easily interact with the people you want to through their content. The people that follow you will see your content on their News Feed as well!

Introducing Points for Highlights!
• At Buff, we appreciate a kick ass play. Whether it's an outplay, an epic fail or just a funny clip. We've decided to reward your best plays with something tangible.
• From now on, you will get Buffs for your trending highlights!
• How does it work? Just record your highlight, edit it, and upload it to your profile. When your video starts trending you will receive notifications allowing you to claim your Buffs.
• You can receive up to 50 Buffs per video
• Don't forget to click "Claim" in the notification, otherwise you won't receive your reward!
• Play, Record, Share, and earn some Buffs!

Introducing the Best Plays competition!
Compete weekly for the best Valorant highlight of the week and earn insane rewards. So how does it work?

Play and record your Valorant gameplay
Edit a highlight and post it to your profile through the highlight editor
Go to the Best Plays page and submit your favorite highlight to the competition
The highlights submitted this week will participate in the competition next week
Every week, starting next week on Tuesday, go to the best plays page and vote for the five best plays that other users submitted.
Only after you voted - you will be able to submit highlights for the next week’s competition.
Winners will be announced weekly with huge prizes every week

Important to remember:
You can only submit one play per week (extra plays can be bought using buffs)
You can only submit plays for next weeks competition after you voted (excluding the first week)
You can only submit highlights from the current week. Highlights from previous weeks can not be submitted
Only highlights from Valorant can be entered into the Best Plays competition. We will add more games in the future

Play, Record, Submit and win massive prizes!

Increased buff rewards for highlight views:
We increased all rewards for highlight views by a lot! 10 views are worth 5 buffs and you can get up to 520 buffs from every highlight you upload.

New and improved raffles!
We changed the way raffles work, here’s what’s new:
There is only one type of ticket
The price of a ticket is 100 buffs the premium price is 50 buffs
You can buy as many tickets as you like and choose when to enter a raffle
Enter a raffle by redeeming the tickets you own- choose what raffle you want to enter. The more tickets redeemed, the higher your chance of winning

Season 1 of the battle pass is over!
We hope you enjoyed the first season an are excited as us for the next one. The reward track will be taking a break this week to prepare all the crazy prizes we have for you
Season 2 will start on December 8th

A word about bug fixes:
We are aware that there are problems with challenges and in-game tracking. We are investigating the causes and doing everything we can to fix these bugs, every day.
Trust that we want you to earn every buff you deserve and want you to have the smoothest experience while using Buff. We have fixed various bugs in this patch and are working towards fixing more. Keep sending reports and keep pointing out bugs as you come across them so we can work together to make Buff the best app possible.

  • 🤝 Referrals Active: Run /buff verify then /buff referral to get your code. New members (<7 days) use /buff referral code:<your-code> for a mutual payout. You'll earn 10,000 points, as well as your referred friend.

  • 🎮 Guess the Game Automated: Now runs at least weekly with pings and server events. Winners earn 1000 base points + multipliers. #guess-the-game

  • 💬 Chat with BUFF Prince: Talk to it directly in #off-topic-english (warning: it can be mean!).

  • 🛒 Avatar Shop: Buy custom avatars for your user card by typing /shop browse.

  • 📜 Daily Quests: Send a set number of messages in #off-topic-english to earn points and EXP.

Everyone has a personality and now it’s time for you to show off yours!
The new Buff profile will be your personal space in the BUFF community

**● Profile Background: **
○ Choose from 15 unique backgrounds
○ More backgrounds will be added in the future!

○ Write something witty to let everyone know how cool you are, or tell a joke using
100 letters or less! Whatever you choose to do - the Bio is where you can show
your personality. Change it through the settings page!

**● History page has been moved to your profile! **
○ The page has been separated into two different tabs on you profile

What good is a profile if no one can see it?
We are adding a friend system so get all your friends on BUFF and start gaming together!
**● Friend’s list: **
○ Search for your friends on BUFF.
○ See which friends are online and what they are playing!
○ View their profiles by clicking on their profile pictures
○ Choose your status to control how other people see you.
• Online, Away, Busy or appear offline
○ As long as you are online, your friends will see what you are playing.
**● Add or remove friends: **
○ Add friends from the friend’s list search or through their profile
○ Accept or decline friend requests through your friend’s list
○ Remove a friend from your friend’s list by entering their profile and clicking on the
“Unfriend” button
