Since jd suggested this channel, though I'm not asking about lore but about abilities, @next bone I don't quite agree that ulmus is a match for escanor. Escanor doesn't have a regeneration effect, he gains/loses power over the course of 24 hours. From midnight, when he is at his weakest, he steadily grows more powerful, particularly while the sun is up. At noon, his power peaks, becoming immeasurable. After 1201 pm, his power steadily decreases as the sun starts setting, bottoming out at midnight again. Ulmus... Doesn't have that effect. In any of his skills or his SI.

Also, while it's not perfect, I think Antandra is a decent match for Ban.

She basically steals health from her enemies and, with the help of her SI, she's almost unkillable. You really need to overwhelm her before she can get started on comboing on your team.

I think Lucretia would have mixed feelings on mortals. She was one of them. She knows how they feel, the lives they may lead, the hope and dreams and nightmares that they have. But they're weak. They're open to mistakes. I feel like her and Athalia would have similar thoughts on mortals tbh, but Lucretia remembers her time as a mortal more fondly than Athalia does. Lucretia might look down on people, see their flaws, but have some pity.

Well. In short he's not the true hypogean. His sword is, kind of? He was an experiment to turn a creature into a hypogean who was abducted as a child alongside his sister. They used a ritual to bind her soul to the sword, making her a weapon that can extract the life energy from other creatures, so he himself could use it to heal his wounds and come back from the brink of life if necessary. But he himself has basically given up on being anything else but a weapon either and doesn't quite know that his sister's soul still exists within the blade, he just knows that it sometimes calms him or seems to have its own emotions for some reason. I do also have some unmasked doodles of him, since he's my very best boi
