Got a new one today. Small one, but hard to hold down. Will probably have to do a lot of work before it’s anywhere near profitable. Weather today was kind of windy. I wonder what we’ll find in the next few days. Who even buys these things? Not a sane person, but whatever. Not my problem.
Day 142
The new one bit off a finger of one of the men today. Turned its head faster than expected and just chomped down. Had to pry its mouth open to get him out of there. Sure screamed like he was being stabbed. Didn’t expect this thing to be that resilient.
Day 143
It picked up on growling and going onto all four whenever someone comes closer. Had to fall back to pushing it towards the exit of the cage with spears to get it out. What a hassle. It’s wearing a muzzle now and is tied down for the next few days. A bit of exhaustion should do the trick.
Day 144
One of the men tried to get handsy with the new one. It’s starting to surprise me more each day. It clawed through leather stripes even to rip him open. Nothing left to do for that poor idiot than to bury him. He shouldn’t have underestimated those Mauler things, no matter how small they are.
Day 145
