Hello, this is the Lore section, so I think this is where I should ask my questions. Do we know how our heroes have met each others (not in their personal backstory but from the player player point of view. Like, they can't just have been sharing a drink in a tavern and that's done. It especially won't work with Hypogeans and Celestials.... Right?) and decided to team up, travel through Esperia ? And how / why they traveled from chapter 20 to chapter 21 ?

We still don't know how the factions united, all we know is the 4 main factions where at war with each other and the celestials we isolating themselves. The barred gate broke open, and thus united the four main factions and grabbed the attention of the celestials. As for the hypogeans the popular theory is that they are traitors. The details of all of this is still unknown, we just know they united before the liberation of Ranhorn city, and probably after its fall.

@fallen trellis there is very little evidence suggesting that Rosaline and Oscar are siblings other than appearances and rosaline's lore stating that she has a brother. I doubt that they're sibling because of other evidence in both of there lores. In rosaline's lore it says that she and her brother were seperated between two of the temples of light, but were eventually reunited. In Oscar's lore, firstly, it doesn't say anything about affiliation with the light, and secondly, is says that he ran away from authorities and his old boss and went to serve a new one in a far away place where he wouldn't have been caught by authorities
If he was affiliated with the light, that seems like a pretty important thing that would be mentioned in his lore, and also he was semi-raised there. He probably wouldn't support assassination of people that aren't suspected cultists/otherwise evil
So it is possible that they're siblings, but I find it highly unlikely

The parasite itself may also provide resistance to Mehira. Her lore mentioned that she sensed the Fawkes and his parasite as if they where one, different but one. It's very possible that Fawkes parasite is more of a symbiote then a parasite at this point

Hate. Rage. Battle. The three things that Raum was raised upon as a lightbearer. Where the young ones made friends, was not the place for him. While kids played with dolls and made friends with pets, Raum preferred taking the sharpest of weapons and battling. The higher generals Hogan and Hendrik realized that Raum had a gift: a talent that only the strongest warriors contained. The talent to spill blood. The power to bring down other factions and cities with his bare hands. With that in mind, Raum was recruited as the Lightbearer’s own “spartan” in the royal army. However, his spartan career ended during one war. One of the lower ranked generals, Edwin, had a sour view of raum. While the others saw raum as a powerful soldier, he saw Raum as a ruthless tyrant. A few days later, Edwin challenged Raum to a duel. The loser would leave the Lightbearer faction and would become an outcast to society. As Raum drew his spiked mace, he knew something was up. Edwin was secretly using a strength up potion. In a matter of minutes, Raum had struck Edwin down. As he raised his mace, Edwin moved. He rose up, and slashed his sword across Raum’s face. It mutilated his left eye, and as Raum fell onto the ground, he witnessed the traitor rise up and declare his victory. As the duel’s conditions had said, raum took his weapons, shield, and armor. He left the lightbearers behind in a cold winter night.
Days pass by and Raum was eventually growing weaker. With nobody to train with or no way of getting food, he was doomed. Until he saw the light that chose him: The Maulers. A tall lion humanoid and other soldiers were patrolling and captured Raum. They brought him to the head of the Mauler faction: Ankhira. Upon gazing at his injured form, ankhira commanded her footmen to point their weapons at Raum. The flaming tips of their spears tickled Raum’s skin. “Why does a Lightbearer like you wish to tresspass among Mauler territory.” Ankhira spoke. “I’m not a Lightbearer anymore...” Raum responded. The soldiers brought their weapons closer due to Raum’s response, but Ankhira ceased them. “Explain yourself...” She said. Raum growled, “I will if you tell your soldiers to get the hell away from me.” The soldiers did that, and Raum stood up. “I was forced out of the Lightbearer faction, because of a traitor. He framed me against me own will... and here I am.” Raum spoke. Another voice cut in. “I assume you want revenge don’t you...” raum turned his head to see the same lion walk towards him and Ankhira. “So you think we should take him in as a soldier, Brutus?” Ankhira spoke. “So that’s his name”, Raum thought. “I have trained Khasos into a master warrior and anyone who trains with me can become stronger than anyone...” The so called Brutus responded. Silence washed over, then Ankhira silenced the room, saying her decision. “Very well... we shall take Raum under our Mauler wing.” Her gaze turns to Raum.

Many warriors have been abandoned by the will of the council. Warriors that could not come back from war, warriors that have simply just gone insane from the many practices of dark arts...or by losing too many brothers and sisters on the battlefield. There was one battle hardened soldier of the Lightbearers that had seen the worst and continued on. His name was Giavos, and he was a beast with his fists. He rivaled even the strongest of the mauler clans when it came to hand to hand combat, needless to say he was a valuable warrior. Until he was abandoned...or at least he felt he was. One day Giavos had gone into battle with a champion of the graveborns...a man once forgotten by his kingdom who had come back stronger...better. Their battle lasted for three days and three nights until finally Giavos was defeated...his hands taken from him. Giavos was taken back to the Lightbearer kingdom and he was given the best care possible. After he was told his hands couldn't be saved he seemed content with that. "Although I may not be able to wield a weapon or fight anymore, I know my kingdom will find a use for me!" You can imagine his disappointment when his king gave him the news that he was utterly useless. That there was no way for him to ever be of use to this kingdom ever again.

Years ago, the daughter of the forest chief tended to help with the Wilder army. Mina was the youngest but strongest life elf of the Wilders. Her hair was long and golden and her eyes were kaleidoscope green and blue. However, some wilders had the urge to sabotage her. One of them... was Na’vi... she was a half blood nature dark elf that wanted to be as good as Mina. However... nobody knew that she had pushed Na’vi away from being her apprentice. This left Na’vi in a way she never felt before... forgotten... wasted... and enraged. As Na’vi felt this one night, she heard a small voice in her head. Na’vi passed out, and was greeted with a strange sight: The Hypogeans. Na’vi asked who they were at first, but nobody spoke. However, one Hypogean moved forward and towards Na’vi. She could see the hourglass he clutched in the lower half of his body.
???: Do you want revenge...
Na’vi nods and the Hypogean leans in to her face: I can help...
The next day, Mina was quietly working alone, when Na’vi ran to her, asking her to help, because of a new corrupted area that she needed to clear. Being the Polite soul she was, Mina followed Na’vi... but she realized something was different. Something happened to Na’vi... something bad. As they arrive in the corrupted area, Na’vi showed Mina a tree that seemed to be alive and ravenous... but it was her demise. As Mina began to heal the area, Na’vi shoves Mina into the tree and the tree’s vines consume her arms, trapping her. Mina tried to scream, but Na’vi had already left as if she was the wind. Mina tried to scream, but her screams were muffled as the tree’s vines covered her mouth, silencing her. Years passed and the wilders now knew Mina was “dead”... giving Na’vi the role she wanted so bad. However... they were wrong. Mina succumbed to the poison of the area as she began to transform... her blood spliced from wilder blood into graveborn blood.

But the council had made its decision...Giavos was stripped of his warrior title and mocked by soldiers because at last he was no longer able to help...so he turned to the darker side of things. Desperate to regain his hands, to regain his pride he began to study in the arts of dark magic. It was unheard of, a melee fighter having to resort to magic in order to fight. During his training he was caught...but he wasn't about to go on trial for his actions. Using his magic he fought back, fighting his way through the guards, through the city until at last he was at the gates to be free!! And he felt an arrow puncture his back, falling to the ground only for a second caused more to rain down upon him...a proud warriors back...getting a wound...then suddenly he felt lightning crash down upon him from the heavens and he lost conciousness

Her skin became rough and bark-like. Her hair evolved into long flowing vines. Her antlers wilted... and she grew a glowing eye in her chest. As she felt herself come back to life... she cried, and fell out of the tree after years and years of slumber. The king looks at her.

Thoran helps Hemlock up and Hemlock instantly felt a fit in with these two.
Hemlock: I want to join the graveborn...
Thoran: It seems fitting... I used to be like you when I was alive... or before I became this. You want revenge on the one who killed you... don’t you.
Hemlock perked up as Thoran spoke.

Giavos stopped his struggling until he looked up to the other to find that it was the one that had taken his hands. Giavos was going to protest again until he heard a very intriguing deal. He would be made better than before and given the ability to fight with his hands once more...to fight again. Giavos instantly agreed and he was whisked away to the land of the undead. He fell into slumber again and awoke once more, his body wasn't in the best shape but he felt...amazing.

Skills:
He takes reduced damage, but requires feeding from damage (akin to a barbarian) to return a % after building up a surplus, this rage-mechanic boosts his damage output for the duration. On triggering, he is immune from additional damage for x seconds as his health recovers (½ the duration of rage).
Similar to Henrik, one skill will have them pounce-to-another’s defense or perhaps once an enemy passes them on the field (as foo dogs are guardians).

Lore or Story: Former arbiter, guilty kept getting away unpunished so she’s stepped up a little to help justice along. On one such encounter, she was discovered and the criminal she was after blinded her in one eye as a warning.
Skills 1 to 4: Theme I see is something that can work in your favor or your hindrance. It will take her at least twice as long to Ult as other heroes due to this mechanic. She will “balance” the playing field. Banishing (temporarily) heroes on either side to equal the same amount and then returning them if both sides are still up at the end of its duration. RNG decides who on either side is affected.

The other method you where thinking doesn't work. Merging is the process of taking the traits of one thing and putting it on another thing, it produces two hybrids, both being a combo of the two merged things. Its safe to say the animals themselves where disposed of after the process, due too only the human keeping the human mind. This method is as dark and feared as necromancy.

I wish the lore was a little easier to access, even on the wiki it's kind of limited. Other ideas were I had included a panda, dragons (both eastern or western), something cyberpunk, etc. OCs are fun, but yeah they take time to develop. The elemental Serius is an honorary wilder, so elementals are not inherently wilders, as for the living plants, we don't know if maulers have some are not and honestly they are human plant hybrids so could be ya as well.The rest of the wilders are the same as maulers, human animal hybrids. The lore also mentioned that the ya had a schism, the maulers continued to fight, while the others found a place to settle down in peace, which sounds just like the wilders.

The alliance is against the hypogeans, it was mad as a result of the second war. They don't trust the lightbears due to the lightbearers casting them out and trying to wipe them out in the past. They don't like the maulers for their bloodlust. They don't like the graveborn for their perversion of nature. They only work with these factions because the hypogeans are too strong to fight on their own
One of the peaks of time adventures also shows the wilders distaste for lightbearers with Lycia standing against Hogan with his movement on a artifact in wilder territory

Rustport is bad for locals and a nightmare for visitors, but the last thing on the former fighter’s mind was self-preservation. A few days after entering the squalid heap of a city, his situation did manage to get worse. Saurus is one of a very rare people in Esperia and certain practitioners of arcane arts will pay a large sum for their blood, believing it to contain magical or alchemical properties. Such it was that the exile found himself in a cage. Not for something he’d done, but for something he had.
The cage sat in a soggy storehouse. The lapping of waves could be heard just outside. It was dark here, but a little light came in weakly through gaps in the boards. He heard another faint noise over the waves. A child, crying. Footsteps approached, though he couldn’t see the one who made them. Then, more clearly, a harsh voice and the creak of another cage’s door opening. There was a sharp crack as if from a whip and two figures stepped into view in the dim light, one large and one small. Saurus could tell from the man’s clothes that he was one of The Whispers, perhaps the most notorious gang of criminals in the city. So that’s who’d taken him. He had awoken here several hours ago feeling strangely groggy in a cage by the water and now he knew who to thank for it.
“Stealin’ eh? Mighty horrible business to get caught up in. Even worse is that you stole from Old Goff’s bread cart. See, Old Goff pays us protection fees to make sure his business all goes smooth. Some coin for us, protection for Old Goff’s bread. Now, if someone were to do anything to harm that baker or undermine our arrangement, that’s coin out of our pocket. Now you’re gonna whinge on about how you only took one loaf, and that you was hungry an’ all, but if we go easy on you, we’d take a hit on the reputation wouldn’t we? Silvina and Isabella are not dead lightbearers

They were wilders
And my one piece of evidence is the moth antenna things that they have
And that their lore never specifies that they came from a lb village
I immediately thought it might be a graveborn thing, but they're the only ones that have them
And Vedan doesn't have them either so it doesn't have to do with whatever magic they used
So what if they were like moth wilders or something

my theory with it is that no one can read the ancient tomes and scrolls Vedan owns.
only Isabella could read it because she was "blessed with darkness", based on her lore.
take note that in Vedan's story, only isabella was stated who can read it like it was taught to her before.
so maybe Isabella is still alive at this point, and Vedan was also still alive, because he is still looking for the answer to immortality.
also, the horns and tails are weirdly shaped and colored.
It looked like complete darkness, so it could be a skill that they could unleash upon themselves while learning it. since Isabella was ahead, she has a tail, isabella only has horns
"So why can't Vedan have horns?" - he is a part of a group (i forgot the name. it's in the facebook lore), organized by Queen Karen. He is still considered alive, but only diseased (note: i not e) in appearance.
He simple didn't learn enough. Plus, he is already immortal, so he's already content.
As for Shemira, Her horns (look at the way it is shaded, similar to how Ogi's horns are shaded) looks disconnected from her mask. Plus, her hair is the only type of hair color in the graveborn faction: a dull seafoam green.
