I changed her lore to that the tree she was put into when she was killed was a corrupted tree. Its power courses into her body, and when she was resurrected, she became a graveborn with the bower of the corrupted nature

Before, my character was a young wilder dryad that was tasked with investigating a corrupted patch of the wilder valley. However, the dryad was tricked and she was trapped in the corrupted area, and she succumbed to the deadly graveborn toxins. While dead, the graveborn energy overcame the dryad’s body, transforming her into a half tree half dryad monster.

Just wanna share my speculation on what Daimon will be and what his skill set be.
Since Niru is a Soul Reaper and Shemira Controls the Souls, I thinking that Daimon would be a Soul. for his Skills, he is a full support and has no way of damaging Enemies as he is just a child and was raised by good and loving parents:
Ultimate (Passive part) - Since he is a Soul he will be untargetable but not unkillable, at the start of a battle he would choose an Ally with highest power or attack rating to possessed. He would then give 100% of his Health value to become a permanent shield.
Ultimate (Active) - His possessed would receive 30% of his health as a permanent shield. and for 5 seconds increase attack and defense rating of the possessed with 30% of his own.
I have to ideas yet on what he's others skills would be. but my Main point is that he would be a Soul and is a Full Support or a Support, the 1st GB support.

Some Graveborns are not Graveborn by choice. Some have been imprisoned into their fates, like Baden and Ferael, while some took it whole-heartedly, like Shemira and Niru.
Quaedam (Graveborn Leader)'s spells, iirc, washes out their free-will and forces them to submit to his commands.

It's a series of log entries from the prospective of a crew member on a ship that falls victim to mezoth's trap. The cook is one of his devout followers who joins the ship in order to sacrifice the crew to mezoth, by starving them and causing them to turn on and consume each other. The crew member gets in a fight with the cook and kills him to save himself, only to get a wound in his abdomen conveniently where mezoth's mouth is. In the next couple days the crew member becomes corrupted by mezoth, transforming into a mezoth like creature while finishing of his crew to satisfy his growing hunger. By the end the transformation is complete, he is a avatar of mezoth with an unnatural, unsatifiable hunger for fresh meat, including human meat.

This elemental energy is highly sought after, and arguably the most mysterious of the elements. I know of several demons that can take control of people, but they don't use this energy. The mind and soul are resistant to control where the brain is an easy target, but it is theoretically possible if it had enough mastery. I know of methods that plant ideas and mess with memories though that could spear to have that affect. in lore, the legendary tier heroes are portrayed as just as strong as all the ascended tier heroes. they’re just capped for us i guess for the purpose of having fodder

While that is true, there's also a theory that the enemies that you're fighting are actually hypogeans taking the form of the real heroes, which also explains why there can be more than one if the same hero on each team
So those hypos could just be like ascended tier characters and whatever form they take just keeps their ascension tier
