So it's unclear how much the mask is responsible for Numisu's sclera being black BUT if we assume that the eyes of his mask are just holes in the mask, then his eyes are red with black sclera. Vedan is graveborn, but not traditionally. He never died, he just found a way to greatly extend his live using a form of dark magic known as vampiric magic. It involves leaching energy of others through blood consumption, and makes even other dark magic users uncomfortable.
The demise may be made up of fully living graveborn like Vedan and Isabella, that focuses on using methods that cheat death instead of raising from the dead, while the bloody feast may focus on preparing for life after death as graveborn.

Tbh the new lightbearers seemed a bit forced(?) into the mix. you can't really make a lot of "warrior" heroes, so they added a maid, a trader, and a brewer which will still blend with the generic medieval theme the lightbearers have.
In my understanding with Elijah and Lailah's lore, they are one and the same. That is why they are only considered one hero unlike silvina and isabella who are very much related. With that in mind, it's safe to say that they are gender fluid, going with he/him and she/her pronouns interchangeably.

Yes, that was the world i was looking for. "Forced" The new Light Bearer heroes seemed off. Although I can let Rosaline's go because her story kinda matches with her abilities, and her abilities were partly explained in the story. But are weapons of choice really that powerful? Unless her magic is somehow able to make them powerful and durable, I think that's fine.
Lorsan's story is actually interesting. But like the Game Theory said, powers to control weathers cause massive destruction. But since Lorsan only whispers and listens, maybe it's different?

We're not stereotyping them, Lilith is creating a society that, for reasons, prioritises strength with a few tribal exceptions and because of that has repurcussions for the weaker Maulers. It stands to reason, in this society, that yes, a lot of the Maulers would be bloodthirsty. It's easier to survive if you kill the people who would kill you. And to be absolutely fair, very few Maulers actually are/have bloodthirsty or battlehungry in their lore, those being Saveas, Brutus, and now Tidus. So I think that it's disingenuous to say that "StOp makING MAULers AngrEry" when 1) most aren't and 2) Lilith has established a society where these dynamics would make sense
Is it a good society? No, not really, obviously. Any society that practices slavery is...no bueno, to understate things. But it's something that does make sense in the context of the society and is consistent.

poorly translated full screenshot. Banner parts are images so a pain to translate, but are basically just saying what the rewards are at the different milestones. It seems this is for Chinese players since, if I understand correctly, AFK only recently officially released in China. The full page seems to imply that this is for testing the game? I'm not sure. Google translate can only do so much.

Looking through the Chinese version of the Lore,there are some...interesting differences.
I think the Chinese version makes Shemira's backstory slightly cooler than the English one.
For one, her title isn't "Corpsemaker", it's roughly "Mourning Banshee", so her being sad, yet powerful makes a LOT more sense.
She also apparently cried herself blind, so I guess her eyes are covered because she can't use them anyway.

Yes and no- I’ve been collecting what I can off of some Chinese gaming forums and running it through google translate but a large number of character lores are missing, and I can’t really trust any text I don’t pull directly from the game. (It can be outdated and Lilith likes to change lore without notice- if you need an example, compare the app version of Estrildas lore with The version in the fan wiki. The differences are few, but they add and remove a few important details)
I’ve also been running screenshots of Chinese version through google image translate, but it’s very slow and I haven’t tried to paste the results anywhere

Also keep in mind a good number of the stories are the same In both languages. I didn’t see anything stand out as being for most of the heroes. Most of the differences are just more explicit details or one or two extra pieces of information. That being said, Estrildas, Thane, Baden, and Thane+Estrilda unión story have some pretty significant differences

I assume that might be why Baden's lore is different in Chinese. It doesn't mention the necromancer becoming a Lich. I don't know if it's different because they felt like changing it, or if there's no equivalent in Chinese, or if the concept of a Lich is considered too risqué in some way. (I know ghosts are kind of a touchy subject; the dead are treated with extreme respect in China and depicting ghosts the same way Western cultures do could be considered disrespectful of the dead and offensive. I know that this is why the Hong Kong Disneyland's version of the Haunted Mansion -the Mystic Manor- has a fantasy theme and has nothing to with ghosts, but I'm not certain if that's the same case here)
On the other hand, the Graveborn in general are messing around with the dead, so I could be wrong. Who knows? There might be nuances to this I don't know

Kind of? From what I can glean from what google translate said, it sounds very similar to Evil Nemora's lore, except instead of the blight shadow thing slinking off to be its own entity, Baden's is still entangled with him- which is where his phantom ability comes from and why it looks like him (it makes so much more SENSE). THe evil the necromancer wove into Baden is still connected to Baden and it's tormenting him, encouraging him to do evil again, like he did under the necromancer's influence. He definitely seems to be free of the necromancer and seems to have a lot more free will but some of the meaning might have been lost in translation. As far as I can tell Baden is experiencing an ongoing struggle with the shade, kind of like what's going on with Fawkes, but Fawkes has almost total control over his parasite, and Baden seems to have kind of let his shade do its own thing but is keeping an eye on it in case it tries to take him over again? It doesn't sound like he's just given up, but he doesn't seem interested in trying to/able to get rid of the shade

Thane's is also a little more interesting. He felt so guilty about getting Baden killed, he became a steward and wouldn't touch a sword for years. When some assassins attacked the Rayne family- after showing no hint of having any skill with a sword for years-Thane dominates the assassins, and the Raynes are like"where did THAT come from?" Rather than training Estrilda from the moment the rest of the Rayne men died, he joined her on the battlefield after she had already become a soldier (her lore says she trained herself using her father's..notes?, and the union lore implies that she was impressed by the assassin incident and insisted he help her become a better fighter after the TPK)
