What I'm about to discuss is purely my own explanation on some things in the game, so please don't take it seriously.

1: THE BLUE HAIR SYNDROME

I have noticed in graveborn lore and characteristics that there are four types of graveborn: The Rotten, who came from their tombs anrld are made of bone; The Turned ; who were turned graveborn after death; The Willing, who turned graveborn while alive through rituals; and The Chosen, who have blue hair.

Nara and Grezhul, who all have blue hair, have very similar stories, in which they heard a voice when they died, resulting in them being turned graveborn.

Niru - who also has blue hair - has a different story, in which he heard voices before he died. Also take note that he is willing to be a graveborn unlike the two.

3: SHEMIRA WAS A WILDER

I recently noticed that Shemira actually has elf ears, which was odd for me. Those are Wilder traits.

I also noticed that Her horns actually look like it is connected to her head instead of her mask. Notice how in the animation and card of her, it's as if the horns and the mask are not really attached. Horns are also a wilder trait.

If she WAS a wilder, then her being the only graveborn to have green hair is quite an understandable notion.

Her lore is also not as specific to her to begin with.

4. ELIJAH AND LAILAH ARE ONE AND THE SAME

Well this is not a theory per se, more like an explanation on their lore.

In their lore, it states that you can address one from the other, like you could call what we assume is Lailah to be Elijah, and vice versa. It also states that they are interconnected, having a great understanding to one another.

If they are like that, we could assume that they are only one person, but in two seperate bodies. Consider it like having a very real alter ego or a doppleganger with telepathic connections.

If Elijah and Lailah are considered only one person, it is now understandable why they are considered as only one entity in the battle field. If they are considered two people, then they might as well occupy two hero slots like Silvina and Isabella.

P.S. I already dicussed Number 2 here, in which Asniel is the one that could make more artifacts in the game.

and I think it would be an interesting angle to have Shemira have been an elf before death. Perhaps of the same race/subrace as Eironn, who has horns that are even a similar sweeping shape to shemira's

Regarding the Lenu thing, they can be a different race with the humans. consider the homo sapien - neanderthal stuff. The race of the people in Ranhorn have rounded ears (kelthur's card art actually showcases his rounded ears) while the Lenu people from the King's Manse have pointed ears. This is a similar case with the dwarves of Asgan

I also don't think the graveborns mutate. They have enough stutched to understand that they sew in new skin from time to time.

Plus, I may be just be influenced because Ferael's 'horns' are more of an accessory, but her horns look like they are placed on top of her head with the blindfold thing, not like they're grown naturally from her.

There are at least two Wilders I have in mind that left Wilder society before the war, so it is possible she was a Wilder who left the forest and fell in love with Nuru. Though the horns do look more like a part of the blind fold from afar, yet if you look closely you can see evedince that the horns may be separate from the blind fold. The blind fold could be a means to hide her Wilder heratege

As for Isabella and silvina, those "horns" more resemble ribbons they wear in their hair then they do horns, even Isabella's tail has more resemblance to a ribbon then anything else

• Wilders are actually not entirely closed off from the world. They for sure shy away the notion, but it's not exactly a policy. The only reason Lorsan didn't leave is that he believes that his powers would be wasted if he travels. Eironn, on the other hand, clearly explored outside Yggdrasil without hassle, going from Ranhorn all the way to the Great Expanse.
• In regards to Silvina and Isabella's horns, their lore states that they were once human, with silvina's lore as homeless girls and isabella's as siblings in a village. Maybe they got their horns and tail when they were taken in by Vedan. The horns and tail also look like a certain darkness, not really something you would consider having a three-dimensional surface.
• Shemira's horns have linework similar to Ogi's and Arden's horns.
• The blue hair syndrome still stands, since from all the graveborns who heard a voice in their lore, all of them feature blue hair. Shemira is the only one with graveboorn with green hair, which adds my statement to her being something else entirely. So final theory for it is that blue hair: chosen by the voice, white: normal, and green: wilder(?).

-If you compare Tasi's antennae(?) and Shemira's possible horns, It is in the same position and presentation. Eironn, a true horned Wilder, has his horns stick out of his hair line. Shemira's mask barely covers the hairline

Edit: Mehira has her front horns come out of her forhead, not hairline, which is also a possibility for Shemira ifever she is an ex-wilder.

While natural mutations aren't out of the question, the nature of Baden's alterations seems to lean towards "necromancer takes dead man of natural fighting prowess and tries to turn him into a killing machine"; things like extraneous eyes could be explained as, literally, extra eyes should the main pair (i.e. on his face) get irreparably damaged for whatever reason.

The shadow creation probably has more to do with the necromancer that raised/created him, as a way of creating a one-man army. It would make sense, right? What's better than one enthralled Rayne? Several enthralled Raynes!

well, the "boob" factor of the women of this game are relatively modest. The hypogeans and the maulers are the only factions with mega boobs since that is their aesthetic, with the hypogeans being dominating and seductive while the maulers as fierce and powerful.

the lightbearers, wilders, and the celestials have a youthful and innocent charm towards them, which may explain their breast size. graceborn has the "we thin because we dead" vibe, which is why I think that they're of decent size also.

Late for the clothing discussion, but i had a character design teacher point out something interesting to us once. The amount of armor- or lack there of- isn't necessarily the problem with female warriors. what really determines a problem is the ratio between the men and women. If the men are also wearing scanty clothing, then there's really no problem. But if the dudes are wearing very covering armor, and the ladies are mostly wearing bikinis, then it's more subject to criticism about over-sexualizing women.

So this is Jeremiah, or Sterling Jay, his outlaw name. I like the idea of 'bad guy' lightbearer heroes, so he's a bandit / marauder and a smuggler. He's honestly a real cocky jerk and a notorious womanizer. His most famed attribute is his quick draw and fast aiming, he hasn't lost a duel since, which especially fuels his ego.

He used to lead a posse of bandits, until his childhood friend and second in command screwed him over, organizing a mutiny and leaving him to die in a ditch. Since the betrayal, he has been trying to track them down for revenge and make it on his own as a lone wolf highwayman. It wasn't until he met his soon-to-be best friend, a farmer turned bounty hunter who was down on his own luck, did his life turn around for the better.
