I was using a mix of factions but that left my hitting a brick wall in tower and campaign. But it was powerful in arena.

You still should be, because fodder management. I see you don't really have an overleveled carry to build around though

You have a ton of great supports to rotate in and out depending on the stage (Nemora, Tasi, Lyca, Fawkes, Rowan) but you should probably pick a hero, kind of depending on # of copies, and keep them 20-40 levels above your crystal level

Hi @iron knot, I don’t recommend you focus on one faction as once you are done with the stage, it will be difficult to get the characters to a certain stage, focus on getting roles like healers or carries. This will be better as it it kills two birds with one bird.

Running two carries isn't recommended. You're better off with another support or even a tank depending on who you're fighting. Put Rosa where shem is, shem where gwen is. And put in fawkes.

@timber stone you don't need to level more than 5 because you will unlock crystal slots fairly quickly - you should stop leveling the extra ones so that you don't waste too many diamonds resetting them in cart later. (don't reset any non-ascended heroes because you will use them as fodder to ascend others and you will get things back)
Also as for who will be your main team don't worry so much at this stage IMO. Perhaps build a group around your lucius-shemira-rosaline for now or... literally just pick whoever you think looks cooler and is working fine for you to advance. Once you get stuck you can re-evaluate

@zinc plover You're fine for now but you might want to consider looking into the team boosts for multiple heroes of the same faction together. Wu Kong counts as bonus so you technically have 2 lightbearers... Damon is strong so keep him, you might want to consider using the Zeus-dude whose name I forget because he can be a very good damage boost for you (if, say, your Saveas isn't staying alive too long to do a lot of damage)

no problem @timber stone but levelling new heroes is a "waste" of resources, because the EXP you're using for them could be going towards leveling the heroes you already have and making them stronger and getting you unstuck. If it was me personally I would go with lucius-shemira-rosaline-wukong for now and either estrilda ("safer" bet for early game if i remember correctly though it doesn't matter much) or grezhul (for the threeLB+2GB faction bonus)

if you're stuck I would suggest giving it a try @zinc plover his ult hits multiple targets. also if you're stuck always try rotating your heroes around, especially your frontline, because one combination of heroes might work out differently depending on the composition of the enemy team too. (e.g. if the enemy saveas is killing whoever is in front of him early, try switching their spot with someone else)

first look impression is that you're probably not doing enough damage but correct me if i'm wrong... fawkes would be a good pick for his CC to coffin an enemy and give you breathing room, so I'd try swapping rosa out for him, or for lucretia for the double hypo bonus energy.
turn off auto also, and time your lucius shield to when the enemy vedan (top right) ults because he will drain your team's HP but can get negated by the lucius shield.

frankly your team itself is fine, so you should be able to get past it just switching around the heroes you currently already have leveled or wait a bit to level them up further. lucius can also go to the back and he will move forward automatically, so if you have an overleveled hero (like your khazard) you can try to move them to the front to try to absorb some damage/have lucius at their back @modest arrow

for now yes, but there's nothing wrong with keeping shemira with you if you're advancing with both of them in. belinda will rely more heavily on the rest of your team to be kept alive, so she will somewhat fall off in the longer term.

until you start climbing ascencion ranks you can switch your comp a lot with little to no repercussion so don't be too scared to experiment

drez is my personal main carry, i'm not sure how well he fares in early game but worth a shot. don't be too worried about locking yourself out of anything at this point, you will end up naturally changing your main team depending on your drops

the thing about tier lists is that they're endgame focused, and that's a long way off. as long as you don't fodder the wrong people you won't be making any unfixable mistakes at this point early in the game (other than misusing diamonds and ascending too much or ascending ascended heroes)

Been trying this second fight for a while now of 31-4. First fight I can clear about 30% of the time with Rowan, Tasi, Saf, Eironn, Eziz but the second fight is usually just a slaughter. It takes L+ fodder for each mythic to get to M+. It's better to make 1 Ascended from each of the factions + 1 of your choosing for first 5 to help ensure you don't hit level cap.

These are my heros. I’ve been playing for roughly a week. Haven’t gone total whale but spent some $. The lineup I’ve been using is 4 graveborn with a healer of some sort. I’d be using Rowan for heals if I had him. Only chapter 7 though. Anyone know a better formation I could be using other than what I have now?

its okay but better to use Estrilda in front with Thoran they are Tanks... then the main carry Belimda cause she is E+... daimon E..

I have them in this formation. Just keeping daimon alive for his abilities. This team is nearly unkillable right now at this stage.

@opal beacon i would suggest to use nemora in middle or top right behind tank... not in front

@opal beacon i always do auto... sometimes manual... and the last line formation depend on the enemie line up. Nemora has good charm. Nara grabs. Farel fears need to swap the back line sometimes
