It depends on your pace and your rng aswell, some people play it risky and they end up stuck with Legendary heroes forever, you gotta plan ahead a hero that you are sure about finishing therefore you dont stuck at that Ascension, for example shop heroes, so like Shemira as early game carry, Thoran Nemora Skreg.. All those DONT rely on your summons to finish their ascension because you can buy their copies so you want to invest in those if you can, having too many Legendary heroes is a big mistake because it spreads fodder @desert drift

i watched some videos and they all saying buy shemira but i saw wu kong is very good carry and at the same time i already got wilders class elite+ hero and i can get nemora from summer delights event so that makes me leave with only 1 elite+ from getting legendary hero. and i played for only 1 day and i have 30k labyrinth currency so i guess i can get shemira or wu kong later and that makes me more easy to buy wilders class hero and get legendary. @wheat saffron

Early game it is generally advised to invest in Legendary Tier heroes because they are easier to ascend and some of them are really top tier, you dont want to invest in heroes that work well in very lategame content when you are still far from there, so Wukong isnt the greatest option to go for since he is mainly PvP oriented and works fine in pve but with specific teams and against specific teams aswell.
Shemira is a great hero to start with building because she carries midgame to lategame very efficiently when she is overlevelled and with just decent supports so it requires way less investment to make her work unlike Wukong (also Wukong is a celestial so he requires 14 copies, shemira needs 8). As for the Summer Delights event, in that chest there are heroes that are buyable from shop such as Nemora, so you dont want to take her from there because you have the option to get heroes that arent as easily obtainable, so I suggest you hold onto that chest when you get it and use it when you need it specifically @desert drift

Try to invest in a carry first, Shemira is a carry but she works really well after she is lv161+ so before that you want to invest in other stuff while you get her ready, heroes like Saveas Mirael can carry you up to chapter 13-14 easily when overlevelled ahead of the rest of your team, and they are Legendary Tier meaning that you will use them as food later, Silvina can be great utility for Soren, Arden is super strong cc after he hits lv81 and specially after lv141, getting those heroes to Legendary+ is faster and will you get your crystal level up while not hurting your future progress, as I said, investing too early can be very bad sometimes @desert drift

Both Lucius and Brutus are pretty bad heroes for endgame considering they cant tolerate high level deficits, if you are overlevelled they can work, otherwise they dont, they are far from being meta for high chapters @pale kettle

Overlevelling him? How do you overlevel him if your crystal is 240+? overlevelled as in their crystal level is too high for their chapter so they have smaller level difference
If you mean ascending then its because he is decent for tower and the midgame part of the game, after that you dont use him at all @pale kettle

Flora is very good in the right team, she is generally paired with expensive heroes such as Talene Ezizh Twins, or disrupt like Wukong Athalia Talene, so you gotta keep that in mind, not a hero you wanna rush building early at all @desert drift

@glossy linden you have 3 dps in your lineup that's a big too much + you don't have faction bonus. Faction bonus isn't a 100% necessity, you can clear levels without. But it sure helps and gives a nice little buff. Try with Lyca insteaf of Safiya for example, so that you can get haste and faction bonus.

Make your Safiya Eironn +20, Eironn can be next +30, push til chapter 30 so you get a free hero from MV, Saurus Twins Rowan are all very important for Twisted Realm, just copy leaderboard lineups and merc if you think you can get higher scores, Gwyneth to Ascended would help a lot as you already have Estrilda and Arthur which go well with her, Tidus Skreg great heroes for tower, Gorvo aswell

Eironn Farael Safiya are the agility core, you use heroes to help them stay alive, buff them, stall, usually a regular comp would be Eironn Farael/Safiya Lyca Tasi Rowan, make sure your Tasi has +15 SI, this will really shine with Eironn Saf at 20, might not be able to see its potential right now @fickle fox

If you scroll up a bit, you can see Proof’s clear on a stage with a 90+ level difference, that’s a big deficit, this comp can tolerate it

You shouldnt, this is the meta right now, Eironn also has some of the best furniture in the game especially when you don’t have access to Celestials and Hypogeans at high level, definitely a top tier hero to have @fickle fox
