I really need some help with the HoE. So the last HoE I did really well considering my pretty low defense and made it to diamond 3 with these teams. Now I’m using the same teams and having MAJOR bad luck. I can’t seem to beat anyone no matter how hard I try at Gold 5. Any tips?

@still swallow Until you hit diamond, focus on two teams and make them as strong as possible.

From what I see of your heroes you can go one focused around Ferael and one built around the wilders.

An example comp would be:
Shemira - Lucius - Ferael - Rowan - Rosaline (if she follows Shemira)

Lyca - Tasi - Safiya - Eironn - Talene/Nemora

Though do adjust them after how they do/what you think will work after who synergizes with each other

@atomic kettle For offense, try fitting your teams against the enemy teams where they have the best matchups and do not use the same teams each time, try looking at what utility each hero can give and see if it would be useful against the game plan of the opposing one

Learning to analyze matchups will be more beneficial overall than just being given cookie-cutter generic lineups but your current defensive ones look fairly decent.

Otherwise if you aim to climb, other than the free attempts you can save tickets for the end of the season when more people will be in each rank

Im trying to build the Gywn+Arthur+Estrida comp. But I only have 5 copies of Gywn. For now I was trying to get Rosa to Ascended (I still need a lot of food) and use Shem as a Carry. But with Fawle cofin her and Athalia snipping Rowan my team get wipe out.

@glass wadi dont worry about building a late game comp when you're that early. Way too many stars on heroes that could have been spread to others. Focus on your core heroes you still need like eironn, safiya, ferael. That stage should be easy to clear with shem + standard LB. Remove the Arthur and estrilda for a rosa + fawkes

I would probably recommend a wilder + Shemira one and one LB team from your hero skew

Shemira + Eironn + Tasi + Lyca + Nemora

Lucius - Hendrick - Belinda - Rowan - Rosaline (though you would need to improve belinda to make Rosa follow her, if you are unable to do that Raine or Thane are likely better)

Those would be two example comps

I would recommend the comp I listed earlier (main thing is just Ferael over Nemora) as the extra time Ferael may be able to buy you and possibly interrupt Brutus roar should be able to give you the RNG to clear the stage

As you can see Nemora's charm was negligible while her heal did nothing, so the multi-target interrupt + spirit RNG of Ferael would be much more beneficial in this case as the enemy team lacks a high priority charm target

And don't ascend to L unless you cant get to L+

between safiya and fereal I am not 100% sure... Im leaning towards fereal because you can also get copies of nara who is just quite strong hero, compared to mauler you only get safiya, plus looks like you need less copies of fereal than of nara
