@tawny seal you should avoid making heroes L that can't go L+. The same applies to most heroes for going M. In most cases you want to wait for all 8 copies before going M to avoid wasting fodder. I recommend reading the guides pinned here, and in #classic-questions.

you're just trying to keep gwyneth alive long enough to melt the back team, her ult is nice but is not necessarily needed to do the melting

her auto attacks are the beefy bits, the ult just tends to clean up. rowan is useful with her, but not if the frontline dies early

You could try a couple times with rosa blade and shem grace. Call on Rowan or lucius depending on which ulti you're relying on to clear the stage.@astral pike

@cloud ledge rowan is extremely good at tanking saveas spears with his passive, so if saveas is giving you trouble you can try moving him to the bottom, to counter vedan you either want Rosa to walk backwards so that vedan has to waste time walking towards you instead of walking for energy, or you want Fawkes on his side so that Fawkes' ability reduces his energy gain by 60%, with belinda you should hopefully be able to nuke him before he ults or your only option is to out sustain him which can be hard. Also Fawkes will coffin either vedan or isabella, if he coffin's isabella you can put him behind Belinda so that he reduces Vedan's attack speed and energy while also repositioning isabella to get hit by belinda ult. Ideally belinda hits vedan, isabella and saveas.

Basically this is what I'm talking about:

Fawkes

If belinda dies too quickly to saveas/Vedan you can swap her and lucius, she won't hit vedan isabella and saveas with first ult, but hopefully she clears golus and ankhira and rosaline lets her ult again to hit those 3

Yes, but lucius can die, if belinda dies you can't win. Try both, belinda at bottom is ideal, but if she dies need to switch

putting Belinda behind rowan seems to work better, but still Brutus becomes invulnerable and comes too far forwards for belinda ult to hit saveas

if I could get belinda and rosaline to survive past brutus invulnerability then rest will just die, but currently rosa and belinda die when brutus is tanking

Switch Belinda and Rosaline if that doesn't work out, and if you have Fawkes, put him where Rosaline is and move Rosa to where Lyca is

@nocturne flint After Wukong you want to use Mirael or Saveas as your carry. Mirael is better with Rosaline, so try Saveas for now. General lineup would look like

Ascending a hero to Legendary takes 2 E+ of the same faction, you only want to use fodder heroes for this. But fodder is very limited in this game, ascend too many heroes to Legendary then you will get stuck at level 140 with no fodder, and can't ascend to L+ because you need an E+ of the exact same hero

Basically you would waste fodder without being able to ascend any higher and increase your max level

However keep in mind that rule only applies to Ascended tier units (The guys with 4 skills), Legendary tier units are what is considered fodder (have only 3 skills and max level of 160), they start as blue and can go to L+ max, you can ascend fodder heroes to Legendary with no worries

In game click on Heroes > Portraits (bottom right) and you will see Ascended tier, Legendary tier, and Common tier. Ascended tier are heroes you have to be careful about ascending, Legendary tier are food and can be ascended without consequences

Fodder heroes are actually quite strong until level 160 and as an added benefit, super easy to ascend because they are fodder

Can swap rosaline and fawkes depending on who you want to cc more, Brutus or Golus. The idea is that Shemira will take main damage from saveas, but Talene will also take enough damage to keep shemira alive. Rowan keeps everyone healthy, and Rosaline + Shemira kills them all.

@upbeat panther looks like your best team is Belinda/Lucius/Rosaline (side note you have both a M+ rosa and an E rosa in crystal), but rowan and fawkes are both low ascenscion. I think Rowan is just so strong you can try using him anways, but I would sub Fawkes for nemora because she's 40 levels up and ascended, can basically function as a tank/frontline because of that. Hmm if you're dieing that fast I think you might just need crystal 141, that's a massive powerspike otherwise looks like your only chance is to get talene to heal enough that shemira can ult and heal enough to stay alive

@upbeat panther I think you mean me referring to crystal 141? every 20 levels (for example: 21, 41, 61... 141, 161) leveling up costs purple dust and gives heroes a lot more stats than a normal level up and also unlocks/upgrades one of their skills. Jroc had his crystal at 140, so when he got it to level 141, 4 of his heroes get a big boost

I had a bunch of these guys yellowed from a while back when my wishlist was blank because I know when the game started I thought if you wishlisted one hero you were more likely to get it and now I just got my Lucius and a bunch of my other people. So fire mage to 160? Then level the rest? Should I focus on Arden/silveas/silvina then too since I can probably L+ them fastest?

Evening all, currently on 15-36 just got a mythic eironn, and my current comp is serving me quite well with shemira and Lucius Frontline, and Rosaline, rowan, and fawkes backline. I would really like to explore eironn and learn him while I'm still in the early game can anyone suggest a lineup or is eironn relatively unique and needs more Wilders to support him. He does have his si but only lvl 4. Ty for any advice its greatly appreciated!

Reset rowan to level 80, and level mirael as high as possible. Focus on ascending her to L+ as soon as possible (but don't fodder ascended tier units, only feed the guys that start as blue/rare)

and don't ascend people to Legendary, if you can't get them to L+ like you did with rowan. The exception is fodder heroes (like mirael, remember they start as blue)

No idea what to do, I’ve gotten far with this comp, like just saveas left, but I can’t do anything. Ok true damage really only comes from Ezizh and Saveas, but the Ankira stun doesn’t help either

also i have blade on bel and eye on fera, and call on rowan (moved from rosa to rowan) i had grace on rowan but just put it on Eironn

like it kinda works, but it also doesn't. no one dies b/c as soon as ezizh gets out of freeze, he just prevents ults, brutus roars, and they all die

Also, my Eironn SI is not +30, only at +21 atm

tasi is not doing much, just banishes lyca then dies. would make sense if it was brutus or ezizh or saveas, but banishing lyca is not that helpful

@hybrid cape who to ascend should go in #classic-questions. That being said, you should not do that. You're building too many L heroes. You shouldn't go L if you cant go L+, and in general don't go M without all 8 copies of a hero.

@upbeat panther Don't make Legendary Heros you can't make L+.

Reason: If you get make [Belinda] Legendary, you just used Belinda E+ and 2 E+ fodder. If you only have one E Belinda, then you cannot make her E+. So now you have one Legendary Belinda, and one E Belinda. However, if you can't get any Belinda for the next couple months, but manage to get multiple Rowan, then you really need those two E+ fodder. You will really be regretting it because you could maybe have a M Rowan with SI activated, giving energy potions to your team.

Belinda and Rowan are just example heroes, as most people know them.

I only have two decent sets of str armor unfortunately. Tried to swap naras armor to Izold and still no luck. Izold dies too quick. Edit: I take that back took like 15 tries but I got it! Thank you
