If I can give my 2 cents of wisdom, I don't think it's the proportions, manga style can get away with worse than that. I think it's the hip joints. Hips dont rotate that way.... the angle of the hips is too unrealistic and your brain is sending you a signal that something is wrong.... try and draw the skeleton over it, you'll see what I mean! @zealous prawn

Just because manga styles can get away with it doesn't mean it's correct, there are ways to fudge proportions for style and then there are beginners who ask for critique who may not know proportions too well, so it's better to point things out and be corrected than to assume it's for style.
