Krita serves me better than Photoshop or Sai ever did. It takes some getting used to, it's very different, but there's lots of resources about to help navigating it. And it comes with a bunch of brushes outta the box, so to speak

Her hair is gray with white and black patches, and is typically tangled, in which it extends to her shoulders. When brushed, her hair stretches half way down her back. Her tail is sleek and gray, with a white tip and black streak along the length of it. She has pale skin that tends to be filthy, hiding her many scars and her cloak typically conceals her face. A long scar stretches across both eyes; her left eye is a watery blue and the other is shredded, pale and clouded. Her left ear is gray with black tips, and her right is shredded to the point that there is hardly anything left. She has well-worn black fingerless gloves on, her fingers covered in tiny scars. On the back of her left hand is a long scar that stretches along the width of it. Her right hand has somewhat smaller scars on the back that intersect. Beneath her cloak is a simple black t-shirt that is also ripped up. She has a blue bracelet with a fused gem of sapphire, ruby, and opal, which is the source of Megan’s powers. She sometimes keeps a small juniper branch in her hair, and sometimes wears a blue scarf.
