I headcanon that Ira, despite being this super tough, patient, cold-blooded badass with all sorts of titles and whatnot, is also secretly really sensitive and kind of a crybaby. It's not like, contradictory, she isn't faking the badassery or anything, but she doesn't let her sensitive side show because she doesn't want her reputation to be undermined. The only one who does know is Kaz, who teases her about it but is also super understanding and supportive, and is happy to let Ira vent her troubles in confidence. Wish there was a good way to summarize that in a drawing, though

i think the proportions look fine, except for the forearm being too thin! its the parts...inside the body thats a bit dimensionless though? :) like the ridges around the armpit and shading for muscles or skin. but other than that i really like the face :D @hot hill

and yeah, the more advanced proportions lolol. typically for me, elbow=waist area, finger tips when rested by side=mid thigh area. men i usually have the shoulder width exceed hip, for women the shoulder width<= hip width. also, bicep+shouder=length of forearm, then i adjust the torso and hips to match. just general stuff like that can really bring a drawing together.

Dragon design for Niru. Graveborn cannot fly and have flayed wings. Kind of thought of them as marshy kinds of dragons and semiaquatic. Niru has huge bone spikes coming from the forearms to replace the scythe.
