this is easily my favorite chat in this server I've been just sitting here reading, laughing, and looking at all the art. also is it just me or are artists far too hard on themselves. you guys say you're bad but I see the art and it would take me a very long time to get anywhere near you guys in the only medium I've ever drawn in, and the only one i would every have a hope of getting good at Pencil shading.

i'd say get a sense of the form first before you go onto shading
you will need to be able to determine light and shadow regions on a 3d object
