If you are partying, having a hotel just in Shinjuku for example would be ideal. You're gonna be drunk, it's gonna be 3am or later. You want somewhere where you can go home and die in peace

Once you're good and lubed up go try a girls bar, live haus or head into golden Gai until the club's start filling.
Club until you can't stand then stumble your way to a ramen or curry joint.
Grab a can of strong zero to fuel the walk back to your hotel.

Wake up swearing never again.. have a nap and some food then do it all again the next night.

For hotels/hostels, I suggest around kabukicho tower. For clubs- Warp is right there, T2 is a short walk away. There’s also zero nearby (haven’t gone).
Alot of bars around the area. Short walk to golden gai too…

NUI Bar & Hostel in Kuramae is a pretty social hostel but located farther from Shibuya/Shinjuku and is in a relatively quiet neighborhood. The bar downstairs is a place a lot of Japanese people frequent so there’s a big chance you can befriend some locals.

As for party hostels, I’d recommend UNPLAN Shinjuku. The crowd over there’s wild 😂
