I did 30k steps the day I landed in Tokyo. This box of 6 patches per night saved me. Did 20k the next Day, more patches overnight. By the third day my legs were acclimatised! You can get them in Hands or most pharmacies to be honest. If you are doing tax free tell them not to do tax free on this item as they will seal it in a tax free bag and you aren't supposed to use it until you leave Japan or they ask for the tax back on all your items.
