Well they vary a lot by location

They are fine, reasonably priced """British""" pubs. You won't really feel Japan in there but maybe that's okay

The ones in central Shibuya and Shinjuku have a lot of tourists and some Japanese people who want to meet tourists (and some who don't, lol)

I’m might, but im in osaka for a bit more; it’s the center of kyoto nightlife but has a varied vibe depending on what shop

I can recommend a couple of my usual places depending on what you want

I was at LOST bar yesterday; it's a nice place with many foreigners who are up for a chat, but it's definitely suffering from success so the line were super long all day. The manager said they were full 10 min after opening at 2pm almost every day
