Summary:

  • 4pm-ish: Shimokita hipster window-shopping and coffee

  • 6.30pm: Live gig + Thai food at habo's fave live music bar

  • 8+: Head to Koenji for the oddball Nantoka Bar till late

  • Nantoka Bar is an institution in the grungy district of Koenji, a community "bar" space with different themes and bartenders each night.

  • Live gig by mystery bands at habo's fave live house. No cover, order food and toss cash if you like.

  • Shimokita is the old indie-hipster district, now highly gentrified, but still has nice shops.

I'll be around anytime after 3-4, habo and others are joining. Have a change from Golden Gai every night!
