Depends what you are looking for. There are a bunch of onsens outside the city. The kenroku garden is touristy as hell but you should be good for the cherry blossoms

Sorry for another long message. I just ended up shifting my Hakone day to another day so I wanted to see if people wanted to do the dinner earlier, like 8 or 9pm rather than 10pm. I think anything earlier than that would be too early. I feel like if we move it back an hour or two, more people can make their trains a bit more safely and won't have to leave early, scramble, or dish out extra money for a cab. This is obviously dependent on the restaurant being willing to as well of course but I wanted to check with you guys. Just got off the phone with the store and we are going with 8pm on account of that's what the majority kind of asked for and the event that some of you are probably going to later in the night.
