Failed update and damaged download files

Thanks for bringing this up, hopefully we can get you back on track.

Firstly, are you able to start the game at all?
Is the game auto-updating as soon as you start Steam?
Are you on Steam PC version or Steam Mac?

my bad, i should have described it in more thoroughly manner

no, i cant start the game, yes it was auto updating but no longer is able to
steam PC

after DLC release it started downloading an update
then i bought the DLC before launching and i cant be sure but i think it started another download
then i tried to start the game but it popped some error again and started redownloading half of the game
after that i tried to start the game but got hit with damaged update files
from this point it any update attempt or file verification ends up popping the same error

i tried clearing steam cache, deleting download folder and some others, i tried deleting steam too - redownload didnt help either ;/

as i said earlier i would like to avoid redownloading the whole game again so if you will have a solution for that i would be very thankful

this is pop up i get by startin ES2.exe

it is very weird now bcs steam says that the game takes up to 33gb on my drive while game folder says its only 6gb
