Last night I was starting the fight with the fella who you have to launch broken drones at to lower his shield and the in-game sound glitched (i was still able to play while the sound was glitching out). i finished the mission and left the zone figuring maybe loading into a new zone would restore normal sound, it didn't.

I went back to the Xbox home screen and the sound was still there, so i closed out of the game (sound still there) and attempted to restart the console by holding the Xbox home button and selecting "restart console".

The console attempted the restart but went to a black screen with the glitching sound still continuing. the sound never skipped a beat during this entire event! I eventually had to shut the console down by pressing the power button on the console itself.

I formatted my console this morning, erasing everything and it hasn't happened since.

*Note that once the format was complete and the game reinstalled, i loaded a previous save to attempt to replicate the issue by doing the boss fight again.

**Scary that the glitch caused my Xbox to seize up, I hope no harm was done to the Xbox's internal data?

ALSO!

Was doing a Distress Call in the Union system just now (it was the one where the "friendly/enemy loss bar" is shown at the top of the screen) and my game crashed to the dashboard.

***Are these known issues that will be addressed in a coming patch or am i just extremely unlucky to be the only person that's running into these weird issues on Series S?

Thank you for your time! I hope this was thorough enough to help out.

Hey there. Thanks for the information.

We've not had any reports regarding a system hang on Series S before that required a full restart to cure, but I'll pass it along to the team.

That being said we are tracking crashing issues with Series S, which we're trying to pin down and fix. More details here - https://discord.com/channels/439572256272678912/1236484860013711440
