So i was in BRI bioplant with my vanguard and used the spatial bypass to get to the homebase. i changed my ship to a bomber and also changed its paintjob. then was roaming just outside the homebase looking for a good spot to take a screenshot of that sweet bomber. i accidentally pressed the secondary weapons button (i had a cruise missile equipped) and was in close vicinity to that huge asteroid/rock near the homebase and killed myself. when i clicked load last chekpoint (the first option out of the 3 you get to choose from after you die), instead of being back at the homebase, i arrived/teleported just outside the homebase via spatial bypass and i was flying the bomber and not the vanguard when that happened.

Hey Pesky.
Do you still have the auto-save, or a manual game save from when you were at BRI Bioplant before using the spatial bypass?
If you do, could you attempt your trip again and replicate it if possible, down to the point of blowing yourself up with the cruise missile.

**We need the game save from BRI Bioplant before you use the spatial bypass. ** If you have an auto-save there, load that then do a manual save and name it something like Pesky BRI Bioplant for ease of finding.
You can access your save games from "%localappdata%\ES2\Saved\SaveGames".
Grab both files making up the save: YourGameSave.sav and YourGameSave_PREVIEW_.sav.

Sorry for the late reply. While trying to look for the save files, you could say that I kinda found another bug. While most players have their saves stored as a .sav file thats written on device, mines not and is saved to what I'm guessing is the cloud. Idk, but this might be due to some kind of setting I turned on. I couldn't find the .Sav files anywhere on my system.

Hey Pesky. Just noticed, you're on the Game Pass version, so the Game Saves won't be in that location I posted as that's for Steam.
If you look in the following location C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\ROCKFISHGames.EVERSPACE2_wm11qtfe9fmzj\SystemAppData\wgs that will be your game saves.
Lots of weirdly named folders, so best just to zip that whole folder and send it over so we can find the correct save and take a look.
