Why is the Root thing in Ward 13 not Talking to me ? it just says … every time i talk to it

because you have to place 2 specific items in there first

Yea. That's also mentioned on that page

Once an item has been put into the Root Bramble it will stay there, even when Campaigns or Adventures are rerolled.

The only way to lose an item would be deleting your campaign in the main menu
