To be fair at least here there aren't these types of government controls so I'm not familiar with these things at all. If a parent decides to take their kids on a vacation the school will just put an absence counter if the child is beyond a curtain age. The parent afterwards can appeal this by saying hey my kid was ill during this week or we was out from town for a family vacation or whatever.

If that kid gathers a curtain amount of absence without the parent basically say anything the said kid will next year stay on the same classes but that's about it

In terms of your lag there's quite a few techies on this forum if you want to reach out for help about that issue you will get some advice from people in general chat. Some of the graphics optimisations are counter intuitive, it might be worth a try.

16g of RAM is more than I started with and I just about managed to get the game running ok on my old system, it's worth investigating. WiFi connection and network latency can't generally be helped through settings.

Potato can cause issues, I would recommend only using potato for the shadow setting and putting all else to low. I don't have much time now either but happy to try and help you out - ping me when you have more time

@twin salmon Remnant 2 is quite cpu intensive especially on low end proccessors. Since you already dropped your graphic settings at low or potato use Dlss on top of that. Start by using upscaler/dlss/quality and then start dropping if necessary from quality to balanced from balanced to performance or ultra performance. Thing is that UE5 needs some short of upscaling aswell especially on hardware like a 3060 but in theory your gpu ain't the main issue at all.

My believe is basically what's happening is due to your cpu entirely but test things out. You also need a tool to monitor what your system is doing when you playing the game. CPU utilisation/thermals/gpu usage/thermals and fps mainly.

Page file is the alternative way for an application or a game that runs out physical ram. It basically start to use the page file instead

Realistically tlyour best way to fix your problem is to buy one more stick

Thing is again even if you buy a stick if you have a modded character with permanent changes you are cooked

With that said the page file needs to be on your os drive and optimally the drive needs to be an ssd in the bare minimum

You need to also monitor what your system is doing. Task manager aint a tool to check that.

In general you look cpu usage and gpu usage,gpu if your fps is running with unlocked frames the perfect scenario is 99% utilisation while the cpu needs to be much lower but that's impossible because the 3600x is a bad combo

Switch from the low preset to the medium preset

The gpu utilisation will go up while the cpu utilisation will go down

Ok so you can't fix the issue basically it's cpu once your cpu spikes to 100% your performance gonna tank down

But you can use at least these settings they won't cause harm

Morning guys, thanks @jovial notch, @twin salmon hopefully you're running smoother now, ripper also helped me optimise my game a lot and made a huge difference in performance. I also found a clean OS install greatly positively effected performance if that's something you haven't tried, you could give it a go. The modded character is not a good idea to run especially where you are already having performance issues, if you're having troubles getting around the map fast I have 4 different speed builds I can recommend, there really is no need to have active cheats especially if you risk bricking your save file (which has happened to others).

If you go on remnantwiki.gg and onto resources and tools you can get a save guardian process to run alongside your game which will show you exactly what roles you'll have on each campaign run.

If you lower your resolution lock it in at 720 p and then use the upscaler to improve your resolution instead of relying on a locked 1080p that might also increase your performance. I think you've already locked your frames to 60 FPS as per rippers recommendations but you could even lower that to 57 58 FPS or so try incremental changes like that to improve your performance.

Ok I know it's frustrating I've been there. I did a fresh OS install in the end and started fresh. There's a lot of troubleshooting recommended, there's the point about your modded save also, we can't be certain what's going to work in your exact case but just trying to share things that have worked in other situations. Hopefully something will make it run smoothly but it is a case of trying everything you can, unfortunately. I also am no where near as qualified as Ripper giving this kind of tech advice btw.

We was hunting Max Verstapen for p1 I was 2 seconds behind had the fastest lap of the race that day price was 100000 euros for p1 Daytona 24h iRacing aaaaaand a car 3 hours before the end crashed on me. That was my last participation. We finished 19nth and out of the money places. I had to sit on the pits 1h and 42m for repairs.

I'm not surprised to be honest especially when you were so close and put so much into it, that kind of stuff is genuinely traumatic

Man it was really traumatic in general, I was supposed to do the qually but that year iRacing had way too many participants and the servers went down,I was supposed to do the qually and do the first 3 stints of the race and afterwards I had to go to work.

3 hours later with the servers still down I needed to leave for work

Another member did the thing and after 5 hours or so I got a call from the team telling me that they crashed and that we are p10. That day I returned home and passed through the field 3 times because we was 3 laps behind I was watching only red. Ending that day the way it did I left beaten.

Yeah that's a really tough journey because at the end of the day you are heavily invested mentally and emotionally and I totally understand that would break most especially with that kind of life changing opportunity dangled Infront of you

I haven't finished the Silent Hill 2 but I took a break from it its too stressful lol, im playing something that requires less and it is good, I started yesterday playing Until Dawn

I was hearing how bad port it is but the game runs just fine I guess I brute force it

I kinda have over 37 games that I wanna play

I tried the Proton VPN I loose a lot of connection speed. It used a Japanese server at first which was horrendous later I switched to a Swiss server and it was better but still slower ,I guess the faster servers is through a paywall probably

But I guess it can be helpful to watch a show or something through Netflix

Yep you do lose a lot of speed but I find dropping resolution 1 notch provides stable streaming etc and it's free so nice way to test things without committing

This in theory can fix ping issues with other people like use a US server to play with Americans
