Updated the game. The spare BMB still is in my inventory. McCabe is still stuck in the infinite loop of pre patch dialog. I attempted the methods again displayed in https://discord.com/channels/439222927876030464/1289173862722044037, but it did not fix the issue

Adventure. After the first time i failed I rerolled the adventure to a new one to see if that type of reset would fix it

I patched yes. Before making this bug report (and after patching) I even tried closing the game and verifying files on Steam
As a side note, what was the patch supposed to do with the extra Black iron bars in my inventory? Am I still supposed to have them?

Was whatever I did only affecting McCabe? I havent spoken to Duane yet since dlc released, and I only ever learned he existed a few weeks ago and got the egg drink. Should I hold off from trying any other items with him?

If you run into problems with Duane (for months he wouldn't give me the egg drink), I just rerolled the adventure where you get the item for him and it worked finally! I have the same McCabe problem as you, so maybe it will work for you?

no, just don't mess with your clock or go into boss rush when duane says waiit a minute
the meat shake only has a 2% chance to reward, but only once per minute. it's supposed to increase chance to occur for every failed attempt by 4%, however I think someone broke the chance system, so it's highly likely it's just stuck at 2% if it's not working for you. The next patch will just increase the 2% to 50%
