When carrying the impact canon specifically, sometimes my Engineer will suddenly gain an incredible amount of movement speed, heavy carry speed, heavy carry dodge speed and armor-based DR. It will also set my weight threshold to 'flop'. These effects are lost upon firing the first shot.
While the flop weight happens simply from carrying it, it seems the insane speed increases only happen whenever I'm using the 'Speed Demon' legendary effect.

Impact cannon is incredibly bugged, currently. I experience the same issues, without the legendary bonus, as well as it always getting reduced to half ammo when deployed.

Also it visually doubles relic charges but when you use one shows you the accurate amount

oh yea, that too. I almost forgot since it stops the moment I put down the turret in any capacity.

yeah i was searching to see if it was reported and this post was very clearly having some of the same issues so i figured it was better to expand on this than start a new thread since it is likely all caused by the same thing.
