so im trying to get hardened iron to upgrade my weapons and i cant even after trying some farm method i saw on youtube, im trying to open the chests on apocalypse mode in the red throne on adventure mode and i keep getting galvanized iron from them instead. maybe im doing something wrong or i have some equipped preventing me from getting it, if someone knows anything i would apprentice the help

Its your weapon level that dictates what kind of iron u get . As others have stated u have to have a weapon to the point it needs gal iron for the material to drop for you . Lots of new comers make the mistake of spreading their resources to thin by upgrading to far to soon and u run into material walls . If u have scrap i have tons of mats on my main u can buy from cas

ohh, i only had my long gun upgraded to the point i need hardened iron, but it still didnt drop for me only galvanized iron did but if i have to upgrade them all to the point i need hardened iron, then that makes sense. i do have scrap and i just checked cas but she is not selling hardened iron, probably because i still need to upgrade my weapons, but thanks for the info it helps a lot

Yeah buddy. U can also by certain quest items from people to like dran dream nimues dream stuff like that i also sell all that stuff to cas
And i believe u can also buy weapon materials that drop from bosses

U just sell ur stuff to cas and anyone that joins ur game can buy the stuff u sold
Also if u ever intend on buying stuff back always sell to cas otherwise u wont get the option to buy stuff back

Really doesnt matter i can sell to anyones cas on there playthrough and it still works the sameway i just wont have it in the inventory on my cas if that makes sense
