#When I upgrade the number of hearts at wallace, does it apply for all hearts and is permanent?

Are there certain hearts which are considered the best? Should I generally be using simulacrum to max hearts first and then max start maxing weapons? Ty for the help

Upgrading your hearts is permanent. You can upgrade it to 10 and all the hearts you have will have 10 charges then. I can't speak for anyone else but I upgraded hearts as I needed more healing. It was the last thing I did. I did do a few at first since I was getting my faced punched too much early.
