So, I'm trying to find a method to fully utilize the powerful elemental build that I have been working on. I have some of the rings I know that work and some of the elements in question on weapons like the Spark Fire Shotgun but I don't know if there is a better way to go about this.
No I don't have the Ahane crystal ring as I'm not confident enough to tackle Hardcore mode recklessly and for some reason I can't get the Alumni ring to drop in my game. So without those two rings are there any suggestions someone that can maximize my elemental build for higher level of difficulty? Any help would be appreciated.
#Elemental Build for higher difficulties

i use shock device with band of the fanatic, red ring of death, timekeeper's jewel, and ahanae(shock device because i use krell axe/overload)
but for any elemental build, ahane is more or less best in slot
like for any elemental build
and getting it really isnt too big of a deal
just roll ravager on hc survival and kill the doe
you get the alumni ring by the morrow sanitarium world stone after defeating the night weaver
I know but the thing is I have done that repeatedly and for some reason it doesn't show up. I don't know if it is I don't break her to where the second part of the fight goes into the house and that bugs it or what?
that's odd because i've found it everytime i've beaten night weaver, even in random coop sessions
And that is the weird thing for me is that all the time I will reload the area after beating her and then she just doesn't leave me the ring.
it's not in the tormented asylum, it's in the back area of the normal sanitarium, where the big world stone is
So the two rings you are talking about are actually very easy to get, Ahanea is just complete Yeasha on HxC which if you do ravager and doe…you can side with the wolf, killing the doe and skip that fight all together and can be done on The lowest difficulty I believe. The Alumni right is when you defeat the night weaver and port back to the realm realm it’ll be sitting on a gravestone by the world stone outside the asylum
Hm, maybe that is what I was doing wrong I'll try that tomorrow
As for Hardcore mode, you are still required to start from scratch and if you mess up a jump which sad to say I have done more times than I like, you run the real risk of just losing everything and having to start over yet again.
so from experience if you just stick to ONLY the main sections for Ravagers den, the only "jumps" we're optional paths or side events I never had to take a risky jump the entire time
if you're truely that afraid I can run it with ya tmrw and show ya
Can't tomorrow I have ton of work during the week and only have chances to really grind on the weekends sadly.
If you are willing to help me then I would love for the assistance on this as I'm worried about tackling this on my own since I'm a returning player and still figuring out my playstyle.
I do work weekends but, I can play late at night on those days depending
