If i upgrade merciless basic version of the weapon to +10 what happens if i make it corrupt do i lose the +?

Also question can i drop another merciless again if i upgrade this one to corrupted? to have 2 guns in backpack?

you can't buy another weapon you already have

no no, you can get both

you just have to acquire it the same way

#

so you can get the corrupted merciless, then defeat ravager by letting him eat the doe again and you'll get the crafting material for merciless
