A thrown spear is a charged melee attack but tainted blade does not add a second stack of corrosion.

also tainted blade melee damage bonus doesnt apply to huntress

"Shielded Strike +10" mutator doesn't work properly on Huntress Spear too after the last update.
Now it doesn't scales throw damage based on shield amout, but it works on other melee weapons.
