Network Connection Error caused me not to receive rewards from completing an Apocalypse campaign run

A friend and I recently finished an Apocalypse run for the first time and after beating the boss and watching the cutscene, my game crashed when the credits started rolling with it saying I had a 'Network connection error'. We completed it on my friends world and he received the rewards shortly after but I've tried logging in and loading to new worlds to get the rewards from Brabus and Reggie to popup to no avail. I had the same thing happen to me a few days prior to the Apoc run when we beat the campaign on Nightmare and had the error code then too. I believe it's normal to get disconnected after the credits (or skipping those), as the game sends the host to the menu if I'm not mistaken.

Did you get the weapon for beating the last boss (or scraps or an +1 upgrade)? If yes then that should have been sufficient.

Internally the reward for beating a certain difficulty is coded as having beat each world boss for all worlds you have rolled.

E.g. Ravager, Tal-Rasha, Labyrinth, The true king and the root earth boss

It might be, that in your end one of the other bosses didn't count.

Though I feel ya had the same thing happen to me yesterday 😭

Btw. I highly recommend for you to host the campaign this time around as this bug mostly happens on the client side.

Just finished my second run with me as host and I got it.

I really believe its the disconnect and skipping the cutscene / credits and that the host gets kicked afterwards to the menu.

Maybe an additional fix for the devs would be to not end the session and port to the ward after the last cutscene / credits.

tldr

1. dont skip credits
2. be the host
3. afterwards you have to touch the crystal in ward 13 for it to show up at the vendor (got scared at first)
