#Friend's game keeps crashing in a Throne Room gate in Losomn

I was playing with my friend and then we went to a specific gate for the throne room and it kept crashing from that point on, my friend restarted his game multiple times, updated his drivers, and it still does the same, he can't even enter his character without crashing. Anyone know how to fix this?
