Finished end boss but didn't get the items

My friend and I cleared the final boss on Veteran difficulty, he received the option to buy Sporebloom and Smolder afterwards, I didn't 😦
The game disconnected from the server after the credits, so maybe that's why?
(Disconnect while playing co-op happens quite often btw mostly after loading in or out of an area)

Anyway I'd love to have those items and would like to progress to Nightmare instead of having to do Veteran again just for these weapons.

were you present for all 5 major boss kills?

1 from each of the 3 worlds, the cube boss and obviously you were there for the final boss

Hi, you will actually receive the rewards from lesser difficulties by completing a higher difficulty so you can move on to Nightmare if you'd like 🙂

You do need to be present for all 5 of your friend's major boss kills (during that specific campaign) as John mentioned. 1 from each biome, the cube boss in labyrinth and the final boss.

I was present the entire playthrough, we did it all together.

It's nice to know I can get the weapons after completing Nightmare but that would mean I won't be able to use them during this difficulty 😔
Playing without those weapons is not the worst thing of course but it would leave a bit of a sour taste as I've put in the same amount of effort in the game as the host and didn't get rewarded...

It must have bugged out somewhere and was hoping that a game admin could check what happened but do they check this discord?

It's a peer to peer game, there is no in-game admin. I can look at your save and tell you what you're missing at least:

Can you please send us your save and profile files?

It is located here: %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Remnant2\Steam

In that folder will be a sub-folder named after your steam ID. There should only be one subfolder in there, so just check in there.

Just need the latest save and profile.sav. please send to [e-mail]

Also, is it just the veteran rewards you're missing? They're not on Brabus for sale?

Yes as it seems I'm just missing the Veteran rewards. I checked with Brabus multiple times, even tried closing the game and Steam and go back in but nothing ☹️
