Using Mist Step, just like dodge, puts the Player in a state unable to cast skills. However, Mist Step also puts the Player in a state that replaces all normal and charged melee attacks with the Heavy Weapon's melee attack.

This happens regardless of the Primary, Secondary, Melee, or Archetype being used. After the animation of a Mist Step, but before the skills can be accessed again, any and all melee attacks used during will become Heavy Weapon Attack, including any chain melee attacks inputted before the Heavy Weapon Attack animation is over.

This causes any melee weapons using dodges, like Spectral Blade, to become inefficient, if not utterly useless. It isn't even avoidable with timing, as seen near the end of the 2 minute video, where I attempt to stall as long as possible for Whirlwind to take effect.
