My friend and I are unable to join each other's world with Hardcore characters, but we can join each other's Hardcore world's with softcore characters. We tried this with old and brand new Hardcore characters and got the same results of being unable to join with the message reading "Only Hardcore characters can join other hardcore characters". Hoping this gets addressed soon, because we were also afflicted with the infinite menu bug so I haven't been able to play my game for over a week now.

Same, only way I found to circumvent it was through getting lucky with quick game search or manually search
