if I use the nebula mod and then switch weapons quickly it cancels the mod activation

as the title says my nebula activation keeps getting cancelled if I switch
platform PC

you can easily duplicate this by activating the mod and then quickly switching weapons

Or it's a mechanic to cancel your mod use. 👆

I know it's annoying, if you want to do quick actions like using the mod, then switching to main weapon to do DMG efficiently.

But look at this: the time you spend to activate/cast the mod is also the time you cannot dodge attacks.(dodge doesn't cancel, but weapon swap does) So a pro player move would be cancel the cast and dodge the potential one shot.
