I tried multiplpê time to make that mod work when the boss had elemental resist so I could not use corrosive round, but each time it didn't seems to have any effect.
First I tried to use it to clear SHa'Hala projectile, but didn't work so I assume it was because it was projectil and not enemy, and now I hit Venom with the mod, and I didn't see anything happen. No damage, no debuff.

I've used that when I was fighting the mini bosses around Yaesha while getting swamped by the lizard creatures. It slows them down a little while it's active so you get time to deal damage or heal up. Pairing it with the Enigma gun is good when you're playing solo and need some crowd control

Song of Eafir staggers enemies on cast then slows down enemies and reduces damage they do by 15% for 15 seconds. The thing is, the slow does not usually work on major bosses as they would become far too easy. Their damage is still reduced though. Try the Song on regular enemies and you'll see the slow in action.
Overall, it's one of the most powerful mods in the game.

Yes, I realized that the slow/dr don't affect the bosses. I am almost sure that it also sosn't damagz venom, but I may have not noticed it given how ectic the fight was.
Used it on the Laemnir boss fight and it worked very well to insta clear all the flying adds and slow the rest.

The damage reduction should affect all bosses. It should only be the slow that doesn't affect major ones

is there an icon associated to it? Maybe the debuff just does not appear under the healthbar
