Can't hold on to throwing melee weapons if I change keybinds | Remnant Game | Page 1

[Version 384,830]

If I have "melee" bound to Left Mouse Button then I can hold the throwing axe for as long as I want.
But if I bind "melee" to Thumb Mouse Button it instantly throws the axe without me releasing the hold on the side button.
It used to work fine but after one of the updates it just stopped working properly.
