jump start the battery, if it stops running after taking the cables off, probably alternator. or charging the battery and then seeing with multimeter if its taking voltage +13v

if you can see battery is draining when car is on, alternator.

outside of it being an alternator, could be a burnt fuse, bad wiring to the alternator like the connectors. A bad current sensor, etc. If a fuse was burnt find the cause of that.
