#2016 subaru wrx hatchback coilover problum

i got my girlfriend coilovers for her birthday and we installed them to her car but whenever we put it on the ground it looks like a squatted truck i pulled the lower bit up and the upper spring down but it looks the same when we let it down, i haven't played with coilovers ever and i am quite confused on what do to.
