#2012 Ford Fiesta, Loud noise comes even when its idling

Hey

I got a car for dirt cheap, it runs really well for what i paid for it. everything seems to be ok. some of the car has different shades of red panels its not wildly off but you can notice it in certain light but w/e

When i start the engine, im sure its the radiator fan come on and makes this whirling sound and its really loud. not loud enough to be heard clearly inside the car but you can faintly hear it. when i open the door its clearly loud.

i work night shift so coming and going to work. this sound is gonna be annoying the neighbours. "you get what you pay for" lol

The coolent temps from on dash is within normal range and the coolant is in between the min and max.

also idk if this helps but its a 1.25 zetec petrol engine

I did the unthinkable, Chatgbt made it clear to me that it is a problem with the sensor and it would cost 80 to 180 to repair,,,,. or i could install it myself and save some money, i have a family mechanic that would do it for a case of beer but hes on holiday rn. ofc ill need to buy the part myself
