Hey folks :) this is my little beetle my moms had since i was little, my mom has not maintained it much atall thru the years and i'v made it my project to fix it.
Known issues:
- dead battery (5.3V, supose to be 13.5)
- Fried Dynamo
- Fried Dynamo Cables
- Choke
- Carburator issues
- Late Ignition Timing
- Deffect Caliper left front
- Gear Oil Leak
- Engien Leak
- Slow/Hard window right side
- Lights and Radio/stereo turns on even tho the ignition isnt on
- Too much fuel in the system, dosent get enough air
- Wrong size Air Filter
Apperence Modifications:
- Candy Paint
- Triangle Wings/Steping boards
- Slammed/Lowride
Future Modifications i want to do:
- Make it more like a Hot Rod insted of a Roadster
- re-paint (has overheated in the back, causing massive cracks and disscolouration wich isnt ideal for when i wanna bring it to shows)
- new & improved exhaust for maximal sound (Exhaust competitions)
- switch the black soft top/Cabriolet for a white leather one (posibly white or black and white cow hide patterned)
- Change all rusted apperence parts (example; the headlight caps, door handles, exhaust pipes and mirrors)
Recent Fixes:
- new wheele bearings
- new brakes all wheeles
- new wheele sylinders
- new serpentine belt
- new dynamo (not put in yet but has arived)
- new parking brake
- carburator timing (not done)
